This is just a bit of fun, to have a train between Newcastle and Maidstone West, calling at Durham, Darlington, Northallerton, York, Pontefract Baghill, Sheffield. Chesterfield, Alfreton, Langley Mill, Loughborough, Leicester, London St Pancras, Stratford International, Ebbsfleet International, Gravesend, Strood, Snodland & Maidstone operating between 5 & 6 trains a day in both directions. This would provide direct links from Kent to places north of london and Alfreton & Langley Mill with more services to and from St Pancras.
